Southern Scientific PFAS video

About the Project

Growing up around water testing makes certain things hard to unsee.
At home, we’ve made choices to avoid “forever chemicals” where possible.

Wooden cooking utensils, an activated carbon Brita filter. (skipping the non-stick pan is still tough!)

That’s why I’m always grateful when we can give organisations clear, data-backed insights so they can make informed choices too.

Very much enjoyed seeing this one come together for my family’s business Southern Scientific Services Ltd.

β€’ PFAS are persistent chemicals that don’t break down easily.
β€’ They can accumulate in water and soil over long periods.
β€’ At higher concentrations, they present long-term health concerns.
β€’ As regulation evolves, organisations need consistent, science-based monitoring to stay informed.
